Sand and Cement Rendering Projects in London
Pebbledash delivers a rugged, textured charm unmatched by smoother modern alternatives like K Rend or silicone renders. Its unique mix of aggregates creates a distinctive, cost-effective finish that not only manages moisture well but also stands up to London’s weather. Its rough-hewn and retro aesthetic lends itself to those who appreciate character and resilience. We’ve completed pebbledash rendering in London for both period and contemporary properties and it always strikes an authentic, vintage appeal, and always, always lasts.

We began by stripping back the old exterior to expose the raw blockwork under the pitched roof. A new window was fitted, laying the groundwork for a transformation that would see the gable wall evolve into a classic, pebbledash finish.

Once the pebbledash was applied, the gable extension took on a timeless, textured look that perfectly framed the freshly installed window. This robust finish adds character and provides extra weather protection for the entire roofline.

Over on a separate extension, we kicked things off by applying a wave-pattern scratch coat, setting the stage for the final pebbledash layer. This base gave the surface a strong grip and a hint of texture, ready to be sealed in the next step.

With the pebbledash fully in place, the second extension now has a cohesive, textured exterior around the new doors and windows. The result is a practical, durable and it fits into the overall design while standing out with its distinctive, retro charm.

We started by stripping back the failing render and exposing the blockwork, while preserving the old pebbledash on the left. Prepping the surface properly allowed us to build up the new layers, ensuring a final look that balances both texture and color across the entire wall.

Next, we applied a wave-pattern scratch coat to give the new render a solid grip. This textured base helps merge the existing pebbledash with the fresh layer, ensuring a durable, cohesive finish that ties the two walls together.

We finished by matching the new pebbledash to the existing finish on the left, creating a clean line where old meets new. Although the fresh coat appears slightly darker at first, it will blend in once fully cured, giving the wall a uniform look.
